Josh and I went to King of Prussia to look at dresses last night. Nothing came of it, but then we stopped by Jared to look at rings and picked out both our wedding rings. 83 He seems anxious to wear his right nao but I pretty much have to wait since mine's being sized. It's a contoured band with a bunch of diamonds in it XD; It's very pretty, and at some point in the future we might get some of the diamonds replaced with sapphires to make it match the engagement ring. His is this.. Tungsten carbide thing and it's HUGE and has this really cool black pattern in it that catches the light nicely. Unfortunately, because the last payment on my engagement ring was late, we had to pay a bunch for it before they'd give us more credit... So now after we buy food we're going to be broke. 8( I'm worried about the state of my getting a dress!

July 21st is the date for those that don't watch my Facebook. That's my parents' 21st anniversary. I'm excited. ;;

Josh and I just got back from going out for lunch with a friend of his. She was really nice and cool, but I don't remember her name. Maggie? I think so. I feel bad for her because she sees her girlfriend who lives in California less often than I see Josh. Hoo.

After that we went out and did all kinds of browsing and shopping that generally no one cares about. Some people may care that we went to a jewelery store, though. At 5:30 we can go pick up the white gold, sapphire engagement ring we picked out.

I guess that means we're engaged now. It's all very, very surreal, I never thought I'd actually get an engagement ring (feminism rawr) or even really get married at all (super feminism rawr). I never thought I'd get a diamond, either, and managed not to. I guess it's really happening, though. Tomorrow I'm going home, with his ring on my finger.

Like I said. Surreal. But, you know, really not all that bad.
